17/Sep/2008: League Update
As attending Teams will be aware we have been let down by a number of Clubs who have just stopped attending despite not resigning League places by the due date.In fact in my 14 Years of running FA affiliated Leagues i have never before known such a volume at one League fragrantly ignoring clear regulations.These Clubs will be pursued under their contracts and we have already made contact with the Governance Department at Suffolk County FA for them to hopefully involve themselves in the debt process.These actions have to be taken due to the total disruption being caused to this League through no fault of our own or our Clubs that are conforming.
The current situation is we currently have 9 Teams who have been attending or have just entered.That is sufficient to run a good League but i would hope to get that up to 10/12 within a couple of weeks.We are therefore starting with a Cup Competition with League Fixtures commencing in about 3 weeks time when we should have numbers up to 12.If not we will start with the 9 plus we have at that time.
A Group After Eights,Castle,Cornard Blades,The Unit,Chamone
B Group Dragons,FC Nard,Scorpions,The Tavern,GSC,Sudbury Galacticos
TBA 1 and 2 are genuine Teams where we are just awaiting confirmation of Team names.
