01/Aug/2008: Team postponements/attendances.
I have always liked to give some flexibility on allowing Teams cancellations even though League Rules are clear these are not allowed.However that flexibility appears to be being taken to extremes with 15 Teams either cancelling games at our Leagues on the day or not attending without any notice just this week alone.Disruption being caused to other Teams and schedules means this can simply no longer continue and whilst I am disappointed to lose that flexibility from now only cancellations requested 7 days in advance will be considered.
Teams not giving that notice and cancelling games will reluctantly be charged Match Fees and if opponents do not get a competitiive game fines in accordance with the League Rules.
11/Dec/2007: New season
New season commences on 7th January with an experimental 2 games a night format.
